The fun does not end with SNK’s upcoming release of Metal Slug 3, guys. It’s just been confirmed that Natsume‘s Omega Five side-scrolling shooter for the Xbox Live Arcade will be available by next week, January 9. If the title makes it as scheduled, we’ll be celebrating the arrival of the XBLA’s second game for this new year.
Omega Five allows players to choose one of several unique characters for a hard and fast romp through its war-torn 3D backgrounds. Your selected character gets three weapon types, each with its own set of upgrades and characteristics.
Given that your choices range from laser-blasting femme fatales like Ruby to katana-wielding old salts like Sensei, and you can be sure that there’s plenty of ways to cut your very own swath through the opposition. We’ll let you know if any more details are announced in the near future.
