NCsoft reports successful turnout for Child’s Play charity
It was reported a week ago that Child’s Play, the charity service founded by the amazing duo of Penny Arcade, has exceeded donations way beyond US$ 1 million. Now NCsoft, the studio behind City of Heroes and Tabula Rasa, reports that they’ve also had successful auctions during the fundraiser. Check out the details in the full article.
NCsoft, the studio behind City of Heroes and Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa, reports a successful turnout in their MMORPG auctions for Child’s Play, the fundraiser founded by the amazing duo of Penny Arcade.
Last month, Tabula Rasa reported that they’ve raised US$ 1,700 for the charity. NCsoft now reports that the Tabula Rasa and City of Heroes acutions, combined, raised US$ 4,962.95. NCsoft gave this message to those who contributed:
Everyone here at NCsoft wanted to send a Thank You to those of you who helped ChildÂ’s Play by participating in our City of Heroes and Tabula Rasa auctions. Together we raised $4,962.95 for an incredible charity that helps bring games and a smile to thousands of children every year! We hope that your holidays were bright and that your New Year is filled with fun and laughter.
It was reported by the end of the year (which was not so long ago) that the Child’s Play charity exceeded US$ 1 million. It was a happy new year indeed.
