For those of you who’ve taken a look at Mirzab14‘s newbie friendly homebrew app CreatDir, you might be interested in knowing that the developer has released the final version of this nifty little app for the PSP. The newest build of CreatDir 0.3 now auto detects the firmware installed on your handheld and creates the appropriate directories according to it.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with CreatDir, it basically creates the appropriate folders set for most homebrew applications. Since the latest build now detects whether you have 3.52 M33 or 3.71 M33 custom firmware installed on your PSP, it does away with having multiple instances of the app from the previous version.
Here’s the rundown of the new stuff added since our previous coverage of CreatDir:
0.3
- Now auto-detects if you have 3.52 M33 or 3.71 M33, and will make the directories for that specific firmware.
- Program exits quicker than before.
CreatDir 0.3 is designed to work on both the PSP Fat and the PSP Slim & Lite. Mirzab14 mentions that he will no longer be releasing any more updates on the program unless a new custom firmware comes out that needs to be synched with the app.
Once again, a French and English Readme.txt file is included, so make sure to take a look at it before installing it on your PSP. You can also discuss the app with its author in the QJ.NET PSP development forum, accessible through the link below.
