Glen Schofield:Dead Space heading for the PC
A recent interview with an Electronic Arts exec has revealed that aside from the PS3 and Xbox 360, Dead Space will also be drifting to the PC. Wondering what other details the exec revealed? You can catch up on them over in the full article.
Think it’s just Sony‘s PlayStation 3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 that’ll be getting a zero-G dose of EA’s Dead Space game? According to a recent interview with executive producer Glen Schofield, the company has also plans to release their upcoming sci-fi scare-fest to the PC.
All three versions will also be picking up downloadable content, which should go a long way to alleviate the fact that Dead Space is planned to be single-player only. Schofield further implied that they may also be making plans for sequels. As he stated in the interview:
I would definitely like to make future Dead Space games. I’d love for this to become a well established franchise; we’ve created a huge and rich back story and universe, so other games could easily be made.
EA’s Dead Space for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 is currently scheduled for a fall launch this year.
