We’ve certainly heard a lot of good things on the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed by LucasArts (Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, and DS) from the recent CES 2008 event, and we like each and every one of the newly-revealed details. We were even more pleasantly surprised to find out about more details for the Wii version, and we’re going to share them with you as well.
According to gaming magazine Game Informer, lightsaber attacks are performed by swinging the Wiimote. While the direction of the swing matters, the motion is not exactly 1:1. Also, using the Force Push skill requires pushing the Nunchuk forward while holding trigger.
While the controls of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the Wii sound pretty solid at this point, the whole control scheme is still being developed and worked out, so we may expect to see some changes anytime soon. More updates as we get them!
