Super Black Bass Fishing Hooks Up with DS
If you’ve always wanted to hang a “Gone Fishing Sign” but hate everything about fishing, Super Black Bass Fishing DS is for you. The recently released Majesco title ($19.99) is the first fishing game for the Nintendo DS. The game uses the portable systemÂ’s signature touch screen to reel in fish, trail lures and pull in the catch. It’s like “fishing in some of the best lakes in the world” minus the damp underwear, the insect bites, the slime and smell, and the unforgetable gaze from our flip flopping fine-scaled friends as they asphyxiate in a sea of air. You don’t have to sit quietly in a corner all by your lonesome self, though. Black Bass allows up to three players in a four-player fishing competition via wireless link. Players can compete in amateur tournaments and swim their way up to the National Bass Tournament for a shot at the championship. While they call it Super Black Bass Fishing, there are more than 500 fish to hook in this aquarium including largemouth bass, pike, muskie and tilapia. One downside, you don’t get to eat what you catch.
