Heads up, Sony PlayStation Portable owners: the homebrew application that turns your gaming handheld into a portable IRC client, PSPIRC by homebrew developer zx-81, has just been updated. And we’re here to give you all the details regarding its latest improvements.
There are three things that’s changed since the last version of PSPIRC: the removal of any lag or issues that crop up whenever you use an IR keyboard along with PSPIRC, the proper displaying of your server’s /notice messages, and the addition of the /clear command (handy if you want a nice clean window to work with). Worth the update? Of course it is.
As always, there are three versions you can download, depending on your firmware and personal preferences. And if you have any relevant questions as to how to use PSPIRC or how to install it into your PSP, then they’ll be readily answered by a brief perusal of the readme files bundled with each version. With that, enjoy!
