From what we’ve seen in the latest production report, even BioWare would be impressed by how Shepard is faithfully recreated in tangible form. If you’re all for taking role-playing to the next level, here’s Hyperchild’s stunningly accurate statue of Commander Shepard from BioWare‘s Mass Effect for the Microsoft Xbox 360 which you can say is member of your party. Of course, you can just leave it on display since it is a statue after all, but where’s the fun in that?
What you see on top is from the latest production report on Hyperchild’s blog, showing how far in development Shepard’s model is. The final product is scheduled for release on February this year, and it’s already available for pre-order. You’ll have to dish out US$ 89.95 to reserve one of these sweet collector’s treasure that stands eight feet tall.
As of now, only 2,500 pieces of Commander Shepard are expected to be up for grabs. The next character from Mass Effect that Hyperchild will work on is not yet set in stone, and you can vote who you want to see by visiting their blog. It appears Saren, Tali, Wrex, and Garrus currently have the spotlight, but Hyperchild said they’ll be adding non-aliens such as Ashley in the next poll.
