Want to see more of Square Enix‘s Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors? Then we’ve got a four-hit combo for you that’s sure to inject some FPS-styled slashing right into your eyeballs. From blocking, to attacking, to dealing out deathblows, this gameplay video has you covered.
It’s been a while since we last heard about Square Enix‘s sword-slashing title for the Nintendo Wii, Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors. In this gameplay video update, however, not only do we get to see the game in action, but also how smoothly everything plays. Awesome.
So, what’s new to see here? If you’ve been keeping up with the news regarding this aptly-titled game on the Wii, you’ll definitely be familiar about the game’s combat system. You’ll have to block and slash your way through monsters, demons, and the occasional haunted suit of armor.
This is done by the game’s almost 1:1 sword-fighting system. And we say almost, because you do have to quickly select a point of reference where your slashes will register. It sounds a bit weird, yes, but it definitely looks awesome to play.
