Revolution to Support Third party Storage Devices
Nintendo President Saturo Iwata suggested during a conversation with CNN that the Revolution USB ports would support a variety of storage options. Iwata stated that “practically any storage method can be used.” It is also known that the Revolution will not come stocked with an internal hard drive, rather it will come stocked with a 512 MB flash memory stick and SD card slot. Iwata hinted that the Revolution’s storage options will be left to to the consumer. With the ability to choose your own storage devices the downloadable content would be easy to transport to friends houses for a bit retro gaming.
