We’re letting you guys know that homebrew developer Takka has updated Unofficial gpSP Kai to version 3.3 test 1. This application, in case you’re wondering, is a homebrew emulator that will enable you to play Gameboy Advance titles on your PSP.
Those who were hoping that this release comes with the wireless adhoc support Takka mentioned earlier will have wait a little longer. The changelog indicates that this version was created to test the feasibility of wireless play between two PSPs.
Adhoc support between two PSPs is still not functional. Here’s the rest of the changelog (run through google translate):
- UnOfficial gpSP kai-1 test svn rev 3.3:
- Two PSP communications for test.
- Transfer Dummy data after connection, then log be stored in MemoryStick.
- Games communication is not available.
We remind those planning to download this test release that they will need a GBA bios for it to work. This release is also more unstable than previous releases – those who run into any problems will want to visit Takka’s release site for further details (via the source link).
