Clear some room: Details on Super Smash Bros. Brawl’s save space requirements
Here’s a little early warning for the guys waiting up for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Those who’ve tried the game’s Japan port indicate that the game will require a sizable chunk of the Wii’s memory space. The exact figure is readable over in the full article.
While it’s excruciating having to wait another month until we get our copy of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it does leave us with plenty of time to prepare. In this case, that might mean clearing up some space on your console’s save data.
Guys who’ve managed to pick up Dairantou Smash Brothers X (Japan’s title for SSBB) report that the game will require a hefty 128 blocks to save. By comparison, the console’s Internet Channel uses 228 blocks, and the Minna no Nintendo channel uses up 80 blocks.
We imagine SSBB‘s larger-than-usual save reqs has something to do with its growing cast of playable characters and other game-related addons. As a reminder, Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be hitting North America by March 9, so our readers may want to save some space on their Wii for it.
