Super Smash Bros. Brawl breaks one million units sold barrier
We reported a couple of days ago that Super Smash Bros. Brawl is currently huge in Japan and is expected to break the one million mark in just a couple of days.
Well, guess what? The Sora Ltd. title for Nintendo Wii just did that. This makes SSBB the most phenomenal title for the platform, even beating Wii Fit and Wii Sports. Know more after the jump!
We all know that Sora Ltd.’s Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Nintendo Wii is going to be phenomenal and is probably the most famous game for the platform yet.
But what we don’t know is that it’s going to beat other Wii titles in terms of sales this easy.
According to the latest report published by Famitsu, Brawl has already reached a total of 1,082,344 units sold just after more than one week of being available in the market.
Wii Fit, in case you don’t know, took seven weeks to reach the said feat. Aside from Wii Fit, Wii Sports was also the talk of the town in Japan when it first came out. However, it took the game around 11 weeks before breaking the one million barrier.
If these indications will hold true, then Super Smash Bros. Brawl is sure to take North America by storm when it gets released on March 9.
