Resonate: ocean-based rail shooter game preview video

Looking for a certain Sony PlayStation Portable game that’s a bit more on the trippy side, in terms of gameplay and  visual style? Then look no further than Team Sushi‘s Resonate, an ocean-based rail shooter with very awesome Tron-like visuals and an evolutionary gameplay mechanic squeezed in. No, there’s no playable build out yet, but the team has released a preview video of it – and you can check it out in the full article.

The Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew scene is definitely one filled with surprises, and this preview video of an upcoming game from Team Sushi is no exception. Featuring Rez-style graphics and shooter mechanics (with an awesome Tron-ish visual style), this one is not only trippy, it’s evolutionary – in all senses of the word. Looking at the video, it seems that Team Sushi is pretty much on top of their game, as far as quirky and awesome shooters are concerned. The environments look huge, the colors lively and dream-like – it certainly fits the theme of being an ocean-based game that’s on the psychedelic side. We can only hope that a playable demo gets released soon, as this self-confessed rail shooter fan can’t wait himself.
