Square Enix has recently announced the details for its Final Fantasy XI MMORPG’s Egg Hunt, currently set to take place next month.

This year’s celebration will have adventurers from the world’s three nations collecting “initial eggs”, to be distributed by festival moogles. Each of these eggs carry a letter, which when combined with letters from other eggs, will spell out words and combinations.

Having completed that task will win players a prize. Note that players can also opt to trade these eggs with fellow players, and festival moogles from the nations, in case they are missing a few crucial letters.

Aside from the egg hunt, the developers are also asking the braver players amongst the community to send in their posts of their earlier days in Vana’diel. After all – even the greatest warriors out there were hatchlings once.

FFXI’s Egg Hunt festival will be taking place from March 13 to March 24. Check back again in case we pick up any more related details.
