At the start of the year, we reported to you that Valve put up a page dedicated to hearing out complaints from fans pointing at issues observed in the Sony PlayStation 3 version of The Orange Box. It seems that the campaign has paid off and a patch to address troubles in the collection of games has been created.
The patch team didn’t point to any specific issues that the update shoots down, but says there’s a myriad of them. An exact release date was also kept under wraps. The only assurance given was that it would come within March after it’s been tested.
The PS3 version of The Orange Box was developed by EA London in partnership with Valve. It features a trifecta of great titles (Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal) and is universally recognized as one of 2007’s top releases.
