Epic Games is getting its gamer gear ready for Gears of War 2‘s November 2008 release on the Microsoft Xbox 360, and Inno-Wear has been chosen to manufacture licensed accessories and apparel. The European company previously secured licenses to make goodies for other popular series such as Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, and Devil May Cry.

While we’re still not certain what kind of products will come with Gears of War 2, we do know that Epic’s decision to team up with Inno-Wear means we can expect cool shirts and the like. Even Nintendo and Sega allowed this company to make clothes with its mascots, and many European gamers are undoubtedly enjoying licensed products from Inno-Wear.

Inno-Wear development director Aurelien Palasse was quoted saying:

We are delighted that Epic has entrusted us with Gears of War, reinforcing our position as the leader in gaming licensing. Our challenge is now to develop unique end-of-the-year offers for our European distributors.
