It should be remembered that homebrew coder uberjack promised that he would soon be releasing a new build for ColEm. Well, that day has already arrived as the developer has rolled out version 2.4.1 of the application.

ColEm is actually a program for the Sony PlayStation Portable that emulates the ColecoVision system. It was developed by Coleco Industries and first came out in 1982. Changes pertinent to this build include:

  • PSP version brought up to date with the official release (changes are mostly internal)
  • Replaced the rendering engine with a more stable one
  • When switching games, latest save state will be automatically highlighted

What we have below is a compressed download package containing several ColEm v2.4.1 builds that are compatible with firmwares 1.50 and 2.00+. Be sure that you know what to get to avoid any problems.

Also, each download comes with an HTML file that serves as the program’s documentation and readme. That being said, enjoy the application!
