GT 5 Prologue North American release: vehicles, tracks, new features, screenshots
The North American release of Polyphony Digital‘s Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be getting additional content after all. This April 17, PlayStation 3 owners from North America will finally be able to try out Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Apparently, the rumors are true and the developers from Polyphony Digital have been working hard to provide some additional content to this version.
A recent press release detailed the complete race track list, new features of the upcoming game, and the full vehicle roster.
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will have a total of six track, each with two track layouts. The selection includes various locations around the world from the Suzuka Circuit to the Daytona International Speedway. Here’s the complete list of the tracks:
- Suzuka Circuit
- Eiger Nordwand
- Fuji Speedway
- London City Track
- Daytona International Speedway
- High Speed Ring
With regards to features, players will be pleased to find that this version of the game includes both Drift mode as well as Two-player Split Screen Racing. In addition, more technical gear heads who pick up this game will probably enjoy tinkering with the game’s In Depth Car Tuning feature. Finally, those who have a need to challenge players around the world will be treated to 16 player online races.
The 60 cars included in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue offer a wide range of vehicles including Ferrari 599, the Nissan GT-R, and the Audi R8 4.2 FSI R Tronic. So before we go, here’s the entire list of the cars in the game:
