Future XBLA releases: ESRB rates Battlezone, Warlords, Lost Cities
For those who are wondering what new titles they will soon be getting on Microsoft‘s Xbox Live Arcade service for the Xbox 360, we have some updates for you.
ESRB has just rated Battlezone and Warlords, as well as a curious game called Lost Cities. Know more about these after the jump!
The database of the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has been updated once again, this time to re-rate old video games that are coming to the Xbox Live Arcade service. The games are Battlezone, Warlords, and Lost Cities.
Battlezone is actually an arcade game using vector graphics on a horizontal black and white CRT that was originally released in 1980. An updated version of the title has been released in 1998.
It seems that what Xbox 360 players will be getting is the original arcade build as the publisher indicated in the ESRB listing is Atari. The 1998 version was actually created and published by Activision.
Moving on, Warlords is also an arcade game from Atari that came out originally back in 1980. Its goal is to break through the other three players’ walls and hit the player’s kings located inside the ports. Weapons include fireballs and several stone power ups.
Lost Cities, on the other hand, is an offering from Vivendi Games. We are not quite certain what this game is going to be about but there’s a card game with the same name. The objective is to travel to ancient ruins by collecting enough cards.
There’s still no word as to when these games will go live. Don’t forget to keep checking back here at QJ.NET for more updates.
