Samsung’s Q1 Ultra Mobile PC Now Available for Pre-Order at eXpansys
Following right on the heels of TabletKiosk’s eo – which is the very first Ultra Mobile PC to be made available for pre-order – is Samsung’s stunning, pearl-black Q1 (billed as ‘the worldÂ’s first Ultra Mobile PC without compromise’). We’ve just discovered that customers can now pre-order one of these from eXpansys in the UK for the equivalent of $1,400. Expensive, yeah, but companies like eXpansys routinely charge markups like that over retail, so the Q1’s cost should be around $1,200 or so. It’s still not the bargain UMPC’s are supposed to be, though… Oh well.
No idea when the Q1’ll make its way Stateside, but we’ll keep you posted.
