Remember Benjamin Heckendorn’s (aka Ben Heck) custom one-handed Xbox 360 controller from way back? It seems that he’s decided to give it a second look.
Ben’s revised version of this mod project features a more ergonomic grip that’s easier to wield, among other tweaks. Here are a couple of pics of his latest work to give you an idea of how it looks:
One of the more interesting features that’s been built in is the swiveling trigger area. Ben explains that this should help accommodate the diverse finger dimensions present in the gaming community.
The right analog controller – the joystick sticking out at the bottom of the rig – is meant to be moved by propping your controller above your leg or a table. The bad news is that Ben didn’t specify if this controller might be going into production or not.
