Capcom to release 25th Anniversary DVD featuring RE 5 info
Capcom has turned 25, and in tune with their celebration, they’ve just announced that they will be releasing a special edition DVD. And luckily for zombie shooting fans, the DVD finally confirms the rumor (not the one about the release date, mind you) about Capcom revealing something big on their latest RE installment, Resident Evil 5 (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3). Capcom has announced at their official website that a 25th Anniversary Special DVD would be released in the next issue of Famitsu magazine. Further notes from the company indicates that they will have something special to reveal on Resident Evil 5 (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) – the long-awaited installment of the zombie-filled, horror and survival series.
The official announcement says that there will be one exclusive video footage of Resident Evil 5 as well as an interview placed in the DVD. This will be the newest footage of the game’s assets, since its first trailer back in E3 2007. But we’ll have to wait about a week more before anything solid comes up – the next issue of the popular Japanese gaming magazine is slated to hit stands and magazine shelves on March 28, 2008.
