Flagship Studios on the Desiccator in the Hellgate: London Patch 1.2 trailer

Contrary to what you may believe, Desiccators in Hellgate: London aren’t containers. Well, they’re not the normal ones you’re accustomed to, anyway. They’re the oddities you must confront if you wish to acquire new allies in Patch 1.2.

Some people absolutely must have pets to care for. Fortunately for Hellgate: London players, Flagship Studios has made new pets available for players to conscript in Patch 1.2. There’s just one catch: players must first confront the dreaded Desiccator.

The Patch 1.2 trailer featured below shows what happens when an anonymous Templar makes an uncharacteristically obscene gesture at the strange-looking beast. The result is that the Desiccator spawns what appears to be dozens of smaller versions of itself in retaliation. So much for respect and honor.
