With the advent of Wiiware, Hudson has wasted no time providing variety to Nintendo Wii gamers. After sending us to the depths of space with its first release of Star Soldier R, Hudson is bringing us back to the bottom of the sea floor with Blue Oasis.

Blue Oasis, or Sakana no Iyashi Kuuken in Japan (or simply, its nickname Hudfishes), is a virtual game where fishes are at the forefront. It remains to be seen whether this is indeed in an ocean or just in an aquarium, but nonetheless, Blue Oasis will feature interaction with the Forecast Channel. Not only that, it will also reportedly use Wifi Connection. Nifty stuff.

Blue Oasis was announced together with the sequel of the classic Alien Crush during a Hudson event in Shibuya, Japan. Hudson will release Blue Oasis this year, but maybe after letting Wiiware gamers enjoy Bomberman and Tetris first.
