Here’s a big update regarding the status of the Legend of Zelda homebrew game for the PSP. Developer dan369 dropped by the forums earlier to announce that work on the game’s Alpha 4 release is well underway. dan369 indicates that the update will carry several new fixes, along with a new attack for Link.
Here’s a shortlist of the current changes (quoting sections of dan369’s post):
- Revamped with new gfx work by Darrel
- Inventory now working (not all features are working yet)
- The Spin: Link does a 360-degree attack
- Work currently being down on the town, the shop interface, and NPCs
- Adding a log to help players in sorting out quests, objectives, etc.
Given that this is just an update, there’s no download link (just yet). However, dan369 did provide for a preview video to give the readers an idea of how Legend of Zelda‘s Alpha 4 update is coming along. Enjoy the clip, and be sure to drop by again in case we receive any more updates.
