Nintendo Promises (New) Revolution Surprises at Coming E3
Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said there will be surprises at next month’s E3 during the unveiling of the Revolution. Apparently the Nintendo Revolution hardware has some other unique features we still don’t know about. Come to think of it, we still don’t know its official name. Anyhoo, the Nintendo Revolution system, according to the company, is designed to do things that other systems (i.e. Sony’s PS3 and MS’ Xbox 360) can’t do. Again, what those “things” are will remain a mystery for now. Earlier, Matt Casamassina of IGN described some of the Revo’s specs (88MBs of total system RAM, excluding 3MBs on-board). But these were dismissed by Nintendo as speculation. The upcoming E3 revelation will make people understand why Nintendo has been liplocked all this time. We think Nintendo is trying to pull a “Who shot JR” on us. But what do we know? On the other hand, conspiracy theorists say they already know the reason for the company’s silence: the Revo is actually a piece of the spaceship that crashed at Roswell. Now THAT would be a surprise!
