Puzzle Quest expansion named: Revenge of the Plague Lord

So, you defeated Lord Bane and brought peace to the lands. What now? Well, if you’re on Xbox Live, know that there’s an expansion coming, and it’s finally got a name. D3Publisher of America and Infinite Interactive recently released the result of their expansion naming contest for Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords. Their announcement ushered in the official name of the game’s expansion, titled Revenge of the Plague Lord.

Over 500 entries were sent in to a contest to determine the name of the Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords expansion. Of the entries, Revenge of the Plague Lord came out on top, with “Sorceress of Malbec” and “The Scourge of Antharg” ending up as the first and second runners-up.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords – Revenge of the Plague Lord will feature a new map south of where the action took place in the original game, and will also bear witness to the rise of four new heroes, namely the Bard, Rogue, Warlock, and Ranger. The expansion will also contain new monsters, but also new items, spells, and quests for intrepid adventurers to follow.
