Flying Lab Software welcomes PotBS players to Patch 1.3
These days, one must keep growing and improving oneself. MMORPG developers do that with games, too. In fact, Flying Lab Software has recently enumerated some changes that Pirates of the Burning Sea players will encounter in Patch 1.3. For a glimpse of these changes, turn to the full article after the jump.
One nice thing that developers do is to give previews of MMORPG patch changes before the patches actually hit the testbed. Flying Lab Software, it seems, is one of those developers. Producer Joe Ludwig recently took the time to give Pirates of the Burning Sea (PotBS) players a quick look at Patch 1.3 changes.
According to Ludwig, these are some of the new features that PotBS players may look forward to:
- PVP Reward Structure Revamp – Exchange shops will provide a lucrative option for players with Marks of Victory.
- Dueling System – Players may challenge other players while in port. If the challenge is accepted, both parties will be teleported to a combat space.
- More Repeatable Group-Focused Missions – This applies to all contestable ports, and will require coordination and tactics.
- UI changes – The turn-in mission UI has been replaced with easy-to-use exchange shops.
- Pointe-a-Pitre – The French Capitol that didn’t make Patch 1.2 will go live with 1.3.
Ludwig said that the aforementioned Patch 1.3 features will go live on the testbed on April 8. He also noted that upcoming devlogs will discuss the features mentioned above in greater detail. Stay tuned for more PotBS info from Flying Lab Software in the near future.
