Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li – movie storyboard sample
We know that Smallville’s Kristin Kreuk will portray Chun Li in the upcoming Street Fighter movie. As it turns out, that’s not some small role at all. Capcom’s latest movie venture, dubbed Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, will focus on the Oriental Hundred-Kicker and is now on production in Bangkok. Capcom is celebrating its 20th year anniversary with class. After announcing Street Fighter IV, we are being teased with another Street Fighter movie in production. And no, Jean-Claude Van Damme won’t be making an appearance here whatsoever.
Portraying Chun-Li, Kristin Kreuk of Smallville fame is the biggest name announced for the cast of the movie, dubbed as Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. Currently, the film is in production in Bangkok.
Kreuk has some huge shoes – or thighs – to fill in as Chun-Li, one of video gaming’s most iconic characters. Here’s to hoping the movie turns out into a gem (knowing how video game adaptations often flop… Doom, anyone?).
