Nordic Game 2008: Business and Production speakers, events sneak preview

If you enjoyed the last Nordic Game conference and are looking forward to this year’s event, we’ve got some news for you courtesy of a recent press release from the event’s organizers.

It seems that quite a number of big names from the video game industry such as Mark Rein from Epic Games and Ross Erickson from Sierra Online will be speaking at the Business and Productions sessions.

The press release also gave out a few details on two events that will be held during the conference: Art of the Deal and Top Models.

Art of the Deal, a round table discussion on the pitching process, will feature Epic VP Mark Rein, MGS Biz Dev Director Peter Zetterberg, Sierra Online’s VP Acquisitions Ross Erickson, Team 17’s Studio Director Martyn Brown, DDM’s CEO Jeff Hilbert, Capcom’s Product and Biz Dev Director Andy Boyes. Moderating the discussion will be President of Nordic game development agency Peligroso Entertainment Group Tobias Sjogren.

Top Models, a panel discussion on new business models in the online space, will be held by Nexon America’s director game operations Min Kim, France Telecom Biz Dev Director’s Mickael Ivorra, NCsoft’s External Biz Dev Manager Diane Lagrange, Sierra Online’s VP Acquisitions Ross Erickson,  and TeliaSonera’s Gaming Community Director Vlad Ihora. The event is to be presented by former NCsoft Product Dev Director Thomas Bidaux.
