THQ confirms European release of Saints Row 2

European gamers won’t have to wait very long to take on the errant gangs in the city of Stillwater because THQ recently confirmed the release date of Saints Row 2 (PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3) in the region. With North American release of THQ‘s upcoming Saints Row 2 already slated for August 26, the video game publisher recently followed this announcement up by revealing the European release date for the game.

Fortunately, gamers in the region won’t have to wait very long because THQ confirmed Saints Row 2‘s release date just a few days off from the US version – expectant fans should mark their calendars for August 29. The game will be released on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, for a nominal price of £44.99, £49.99 and £34.99 (around US$ 88.74, US$ 98.62, US$ 69.03 respectively).

In any case, it’s a good thing that THQ decided to schedule the Saints Row 2 release several months after Rockstar Games’ own Grand Theft Auto 4 else we might have a different sort of gang war on our hands.
