Reportedly, Midway Games will unleash a new entry in its long-running fighting game series today at its Gamers’ Day event. In brutally layman terms, the latest Mortal Kombat title is going to be revealed very soon as its countdown proves to be legit.

So far, it is only known that the next-gen Mortal Kombat is powered by a heavily modified version of Epic Games‘ Unreal Engine 3. We may soon see how gorgeous visuals shaped up to be, because a couple of sites claim videos are scheduled to drop come April 18.
