50,000 invited to Age of Conan open beta
A few days before release, players can test the waters of Hyboria. Funcom, Eidos Interactive and IGN just announced a collaborative effort to take Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures to open beta phase with 50,000 slots available. Details await at the full article.
Another batch of players will soon be able to enter Hyboria, as Funcom, Eidos Interactive and IGN team up to open the gates of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures‘ open beta testing phase. Some 50,000 lucky MMORPG enthusiasts can live the life of a barbarian starting May 1st.
FilePlanet members are qualified to sign up for Age of Conan‘s first open beta, but you’d have to be fortunate to acquire a beta key. With the objective of stress testing the game’s servers before launch in mind, players will have access to limited content.
During the beta, aspiring Hyborian warriors can grow up to level 13. All classes are available for trial, and participants are promised extended hours of fun. The full Age of Conan is scheduled for release this May 17th, while retailers across the globe are already offering pre-orders.
