Grand Theft Auto 4 goes gold

The rumors and predictions that Grand Theft Auto 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) may be delayed can finally be laid to rest. It was announced in a recent Take-Two Interactive stockholders meeting that the game has already gone gold.

According to Take-Two Interactive’s CEO, Ben Feder, Grand Theft Auto 4 is already “in production and in trucks en route to retailers.” This is pretty much a guarantee that the game will be making its release date on April 29.

Fans of the game waiting for Grand Theft Auto 4 to hit the retail stores can rest easy knowing that the game is already headed or will be heading your way as we speak. There’s nothing we can do now but wait and see if the game sells as many copies as analysts predicted.
