Runescape releases the Behind the Scenes for April
The BTS on Runescape’s website tells us there are a few new things being added to Runescape this month. The first update is that there are two new quests in Varrock. The rewards are new training areas, along with new cut scenes for the plot. The Battle Tortoises will make their first appearances this month at the Khazard Battlefield plus a new training method is being implemented called Wilderness Tag. This places pillars out in the wilderness to be “tagged”. If all the pillars are “tagged” your character will gain combat experience to be placed in the discipline of your choice. Runescape is also dressing up for Easter with eggs and bunnies. In addition to the eggs and bunnies being placed in the world there is also a new Emote to go along with the holiday. Pest Control is being added to the game in April also – this a new mini game with an Oblivion feel to it. There are pure Evil gates opened around the world in which players must team up and destroy these gates. These gates will feature 6 new creatures and players will have 20 minutes to destroy a gate. The last update is that there are new pamphlets to tell players what can be done in Varrock, and a read letter having to do with the highly inquired Mime.
