Word has it that GameStop is expecting new models of the Nintendo DS for sale in the U.S. To be exact, insiders from the retail chain reportedly revealed the limited Metallic Rose flavor of the handheld previously bundled with Nintendogs will be on sale.

According to GoNintendo, the DS in question won’t have the paw print that marked the ones which came with Nintendogs. We have to tag this under rumors for now, but an official statement is anticipated in the next few days.
