Koei: Warriors Orochi series exceeds 1.5 million sales

Here’s some big news for the guys who happen to be fans of Koei‘s Musou Orochi (Warriors Orochi) series of games. Famitsu has disclosed that as of last week, worldwide shipments of the game series have exceeded the 1.5 million mark. Going into specifics, here’s the breakdown of the game’s sales across the consoles:

As a recap, Warriors Orochi is a crossover of Koei and Omega Force’s Dynasty Warriors 5 and Samurai Warriors 2 titles. A total of 79 characters are in the game, with players seeking to ally themselves for or against Orochi, the Serpent King.
Warriors Orochi 2 in particular was released just last month, April 3, to the territories of Japan.
