Ubisoft- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction redesign not reason for delay
Remember when we reported on some news circulating on the internet that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction (Xbox 360, PC) will be delayed due to a redesign? Well, Ubisoft has responded to this. To find out what they had to say, head on over to the full article.
You’ll probably recall an article we did some time ago which mentioned that Ubisoft pushed back the launch date of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction (Xbox 360, PC) to 2009 or even as far back as Spring 2010 due to a redesign.
It seems that this has been discredited by Ubisoft and that the game would not be undergoing a redesign. Ubisoft clarified that the information stated by the Xbox World 360 article was nothing but “pure speculation.”
Inspite of this, the company didn’t give out any information on why they were pushing back the game’s launch date. A move which may lead to even more theories about why the game won’t be making it this year.
