JezzballDS v1.2.1 now out
It’s always good to carry a piece of classic gaming while on the go, and we’re able to do just that thanks to the homebrew scene for the handheld consoles. One such classic gaming tidbit is homebrew developer Ricco’s JezzballDS (previous version here), a clone of an old Microsoft Entertainment Pack game from the early 1990’s. More details in the full article.

Those hankering for gaming classics can truly find solace in the homebrew community. One such example of classic games produced through homebrew channels is ricco’s JezzballDS, a clone of Microsoft Entertainment Pack’s Jezzball from way back in 1992 (previous version here). Retrogaming much? Yes indeed, and we’re happy to relive gaming memories in our Nintendo handhelds.
If you haven’t come across this classic gaming gem, the main goal in Jezzball is to remove as much space as you can, while making sure to avoid the balls.
Controls are pretty simple: just use the trigger buttons to toggle between vertical and horizontal wall-making, and then proceed to create the wall by pressing on the B button.
There are no readme files included with the download, so you need to make sure that you know at least the very basics of running DS homebrew. Enjoy!
