The developers behind the PlayStation Portable 3.95 GEN custom firmware have announced that a second version, aptly called 3.95 GEN-2, will be released tomorrow evening at around 12 midnight. In addition, the devs also mentioned that “there shouldn’t be any delay this time.”
According to the post on the official website, the developers know about the issues that users have reported (and the subsequent downgrading of multiple users to 3.90 M33-3) so they’re releasing an update to fix the problems. The updated version will be sporting the following improvements:
- Latest SNES emulator now works perfectly fine.
- Compatibility of homebrew in the Slim has been improved.
- Fixed the bug which made the PSP look like a brick when the ‘Use in VSHMenu’ mode was set to ‘None’
