A press release from Funcom revealed that it will have shipped over one million copies of the PC version of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (the Xbox 360 version is still in development) in less than three weeks since it launched.
According to Funcom’s vice president of sales and marketing, Morten Larsen, sales data have shown that Age of Conan is “the biggest MMO launch since World of Warcraft.”
While they didn’t release exact figures to confirm this statement, they did cite that the game has been topping sales charts in various regions of the world including Germany, North America, and more.
Speaking of North America, the game is already moving past the 500,000 mark in the said region. Not bad considering it is barely through its third week since it was originally released. That said, be sure to keep checking back here for the latest Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures news.
