Heads up, homebrew developers! Grupo SceneBeta.com is holding the first Scenery Beta 2008, a kinda-contest for homebrew across platforms, namely for the Nintendo Wii and DS, the PSP, and the PC.
Scenery Beta 2008 is officially a homebrew festival, an exhibition (or a fiesta!) of sorts, giving developers a chance to showcase their homebrew. However, people will still get a chance to win some cash prizes. The group’s giving away more than EUR 2000 (US$ 3,147) in prizes to the most outstanding works.
The cash prizes will be awarded depending on the score given by other coders, and the community. Each prize tier will also include a 2 GB Pendrive. Each platform will have two categories, with five awards given to each category. The two categories are games and applications.
Winners will be announced on the first of October. Follow the link below for the rules and the instructions on how to enter.
