SOCOM: Confrontation brings official Bluetooth Headset to PS3; Quarantine stage revealed

SOCOM: Confrontation - Image 1 Imagine a world of gaming where background noise won’t interfere with strategies concocted among teammates via headphones. Do you see it? If you want to see it more clearly, then click on that “read more” button to see what the SOCOM: Confrontation official PS3 Bluetooth Headset looks like. Yes, you read right. PS3 Bluetooth Headset. With mute. That, and the revealed Quarantine stage.

Official SOCOM-PS3 bluetooth - Image 1Definitely looks like something’s a-cookin’ behind the development kitchen of Slant Six‘s SOCOM: Confrontation. Over at the PlayStation Blog, David “Point Man” Brothers posted some very curious pictures and video from Sony’s Media Day held last Tuesday outside of Las Vegas.

The guys had fun, of course, going out into the desert. But it didn’t matter how much gunshots they heard that day. They certainly did not hear wrong when SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALS Confrontation was mentioned, along with the official Bluetooth Headset for the PS3.

Say what? Yes, a Bluetooth Headset for the PS3. For SOCOM. Sounds delish, right? This Headset exclusively for the PS3 will actually be featuring a mute button, thus setting apart from other “regular” bluetooths. Imagine the strategies you can exploit with the silence! No more heavy breathings over headphones, or unnecessary diagetic sounds going on around. Just pure plain mute when needed.

Apart from that thank-God feature, it will also come with a charging cradle, which can be plugged into any USB port. That saves a lot of hassle properly charging the Bluetooth, plus, now you won’t have to lose it.

But the good news ain’t done spilling! It was also at the same event that present media folks got a glance of the Quarantine stage. Interested? Then just check out this clip below. That should speak for itself even on mute.

We’ll keep you posted on more details regarding this brazilliant accessory, so just keep it right here.

Thanks to ISOHaven for the heads up!
