New Zoid Games for the DS
Source: IGN
The Zoid games command their biggest followings on Nintendo systems, and publisher Tomy seems to recognize this. With multiple Game Boy Advance and GameCube Zoid games already out, the company has gotten around to announcing its two latest titles, one for the GameCube and one for the DS.
Zoid Metal Crush, for the GameCube, is an all-out action/fighter. The game is based off the recent PlayStation 2 Zoid Struggle, to which Tomy is adding new zoids and battle stages. A Japanese release is set for 10/27.
The DS Zoid game was already announced some time last year, but without details or a final name. Zoid Saga DS ~ legend of arcadia ~ is an RPG in which players work with zoids to advance through the storyline. The game includes zoids from the cartoon and some new creations, all of which can be customized by the player. A release is planned for Winter.
With rare exception, the Zoid games are a Japan-only thing, so those wanting these latest titles will probably need to import.
