Straight from Microsoft‘s E3 conference comes official word regarding the fabled avatars. Yes folks, these avatars are real, and they’re coming to the Xbox 360 in the fall.
Here’s what we know so far:
- The new Xbox Live interface will reportedly feature a new GUI with avatars
The avatars were created by Rare
- Your gamercard can be updated with avatars.
- Your avatar will be customizable
The avatars will be in games, websites, on the dashboard, and in messages.
Microsoft also announced a new community channel where you can create a Live Party that’ll allow you to stream photos (and, presumably, other forms of content) to up to 8 people in the Live Party.
There are more updates coming in from the E3’s conference, so keep checking QJ for updates.
