Kazunori Yamauchi, the CEO of Polyphony Digital as well as the creator and producer of the Gran Turismo series, was at E3 2008 where he let slip a number of details about the future of GT5 Prologue, as well as the launch dates of both the PS3’s GT5 and PSP’s GT4 Mobile.
In a short talk with Joystiq, Yamauchi hinted that they plan on expanding GT5 Prologue by adding even more cars, tracks, and features. He stated that his studio is actually focusing a majority of its efforts on the aforementioned game.
With regard to the launch of GT5, Yamauchi stated that we might not see the game before 2010. In addition, GT4 Mobile for the PSP is still in development and that it won’t be released until after GT5 comes out. This means that we may have to wait a bit before we get our hands on either game. Oh well, at least we have GT5 Prologue, right?
