Scurge Hive – Coming to the DS
Scurge Hive starts out with you in control of Jenosa Arma, unaware of a highly contagious and dangerous virus heading her way. The unleashing of the disease is the fault of careless scientists who were getting too carried with there experiments.
The action starts immediately with Jenosa facing the first boss. The conclusion of the battle has already been decided, you have no chance of escaping this battle without scars. The conclusion being that Jenosa contracts the virus herself.
The infection is a constant battle throughout Scurge Hive as Jenosa has to fight her way through the station fighting virus-infested creatures while looking for clues about how to stop this deadly virus.
Your life meter will continously be dropping, very slowly, but this adda extra urgency to complete levels. The effects of the virus can be made worse by other infected creatures trying to attack you, this speeding up the negative effect. You will however be able to revamp life, by increasing your immunity to the virus.
Similar to the GBA pokemon games, Scurge Hive DS has the top-down perspective. The graphics in this game have been said to be impressive and detailed. As the game is still in development, very few screens have been released. Scurge: Hive is estimated for a September 16, 2005 launch in the US.
