Super Chao a LUA game
Madsoul, from our forums, has released what he would like to call: “his first Lua game! Super Chao!” At first, the game would seem to be a Chao garden game from the name, but it is a rather different approach on these cute, cuddly, chaos. The gameplay plays a lot like AOTM (Attack of the Mutants) that has achieved great success in the community, and Vector Infector. This game seems to be a modification of an already exisiting homebrew game (Robtron Beta), but it uses a completely different code. Instead of dodging the enemies, like in Robotron, you are destroying them! The game is a great start for beginning developers in Lua, like Madsoul. And remember everyone, Lua isn’t a “cheap way out” when developing a program! If you haven’t listen to PSPHacking101’s second Commutecast in which Ragable exclaims the reason why you can’t say that Lua is a “noob’s” langauge! So, great job Madsoul on your first game, and good luck!
