Ben Judd liked MGS4 — except the story

Capcom‘s Ben Judd has got some advice for Hideo Kojima: put the clamps on himself. In what context did he say this? In regards to the Metal Gear Solid 4‘s storyline being long, that’s where. More comes after the jump.

You can’t please everyone. And in Hideo Kojima‘s case, his cinematic gameplays for Metal Gear Solid 4 did not please Bionic Commando (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC) producer Ben Judd. This much, he stated in an interview with Videogamer.com.

Well, it’s not that he did not like MGS4 at all – he did. However, the story for him feels like it “keeps getting longer and longer.” Here’s the exact quote from the interview:

I liked Metal Gear Solid 4, with the exception of the story. I like Kojima’s stories, but they keep getting longer and longer. He needs to put the clamps on himself and only give himself 30 minutes. If he did that I’m sure they’d be fantastic.
